Pallav Green Foundation Celebrates Dussehra with Residents at Institute for the Blind

NEW DELHI: In a heartwarming celebration of community and care ahead of Dussehra, the Pallav Green Foundation celebrated the festival by spending a memorable day with residents at the Industrial Institute and Hostel for the Blind Society.

Moving beyond a routine donation drive, the event turned into an interactive day of shared stories, laughter, and musical performances. Residents showcased their artistic talents, captivating the audience with soulful songs and personal life journeys.

To support the institution’s daily operations, the Foundation presented large and small steel storage containers. Additionally, personalized care hampers were distributed to around 40 residents. Each hamper contained daily hygiene products—including dental kits, soap, shampoo, moisturizer, hair oil, and hand towels—along with winter wear such as woollen gloves, caps, and socks to prepare them for the upcoming cold months.

“Seeing the joy and genuine satisfaction in their eyes made every effort worthwhile,” said Dr. Anjulika Joshi, Director of the Foundation. “It was a powerful reminder of how meaningful human connection and simple acts of presence can bring a community together.”
