Little Hands, Big Impact: Girls Lead the Way in Greening School Campus
New Delhi — The Pallav Green Foundation (PGF) and Inshani Public School successfully partnered to host a significant plantation drive, creating a vibrant and meaningful model for environmental education.
Approximately 50 enthusiastic female students participated in the event, collectively planting numerous saplings across the school premises. This active and significant involvement by the students created a tangible and immediate positive impact on the environment, showcasing their genuine eagerness to become environmental stewards.
Fostering Responsibility Through Adoption
A highlight of the event was the initiative to foster a deep sense of connection and responsibility: every sapling was personally adopted by a student. Each girl’s name was thoughtfully placed on her plant. This step ensures the longevity and survival of the newly planted trees while serving as a lasting acknowledgment of their dedication.
PGF extends sincere thanks to Mr. Rajiv Chaudhury (Counselor, Lado Sarai), Dr. Harita (Principal of Inshani Public School), and all the dedicated teachers for their unwavering support, which was instrumental in making the drive a resounding success.
