Rotary Club of Gurgaon Cosmopolitan and Rotaract Club of Young Souvenirs Organize Free Eye Checkup Camp

Gurgaon, July 24, 2023: Rotary Club of Gurgaon Cosmopolitan (RCGC) and Rotaract Club of Young Souvenirs organized a free eye checkup camp on July 23, 2023 at AWHO, Sujjain Vihar, Sector 43 for its residents and support staffs. The event was supported by Rtn. Neeraj Saduja and his Viaan Eye & Retina Centre.

The camp was attended by President Amit Jain, Assistant Governor Vivek Duggal, Project Chairman Neeraj Sanduja, IPP and Director New Generation Abhishek Aneja, and newest members Rtn. Govind Sharda and Rtn. Sanjeevv Budhiraja.

Over 50 beneficiaries were screened for eye problems at the camp. Those who were found to have vision problems were referred to Viaan Eye & Retina Centre for further treatment.

The camp was a great success and it was able to provide much-needed eye care to the residents of AWHO, Sujjain Vihar. The organizers are grateful to all the volunteers who helped make the camp a success.

Best Part of the Project

The best part of the project was meeting individuals from corporates having CSR funds and they agreeing to support us in future projects. This will help us to organize more such camps and provide eye care to more people in need.
