RCD Southex Gives Back to the Community with Book Donation
On July 13, 2023, Rotary Club of Delhi Southex donated over 1,000 pre-loved books to Balwantray Mehta Vidya Bhavan School, a government-aided school run by the Servants of the People Society (SOPS). The books were CBSE/NCERT course books, and they will be used by students from financially weaker sections of society.
This project is lead by IPP Rtn Praveen Jain and President Rtn Gaurav Khetan. They were joined by the school’s staff.
Mr. Jain said that the donation was a way to give back to the community and to help students who might not otherwise have access to books. He said that education is the key to a better future, and that he was proud to be able to help provide books to these students.
The school’s management thanked RCD Southex for the donation and said that the books would be a valuable resource for the students. He said that the students were very excited to receive the books, and that they would be put to good use.
The donation of books is a great example of how RCD Southex is committed to giving back to the community. The Rotary Club of Delhi Southex is always looking for ways to help those in need, and this donation is a perfect example of that commitment.
